As the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), I am honored to lead one of the UAE’s largest and most comprehensive medical facilities. Established in 2019 as part of the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030, SSMC was envisioned to elevate health care services in the Emirate and position Abu Dhabi as a global hub for health.

The remarkable achievements, including around 600,000 patient interactions, over 445,000 outpatient visits, 129,000 emergency cases, and 27,000 inpatient admissions, are a testament to our unwavering dedication. This is made possible by our world-class facilities, state-of-the-art technology, and a team of nearly 500 physicians across 46 service lines, supported by 1,500 skilled nurses.
