The Tropical and Infectious Diseases Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC) in Abu Dhabi provides high-quality personalized care, using cutting-edge diagnostic technology and state-of-the-art facilities. Our dedicated team of European board-certified experts specializes in preventing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of bacterial, fungal, viral, and parasitic infections.
We offer inpatient and outpatient services and conduct medical ward rounds in multiple units such as critical care units and burns units. In addition, our Tropical and Infectious Diseases team are leaders in developing strategies to reduce the risk of acquiring or transmitting infections whilst in the hospital.
