Dr. Devine’s proficiency extends to 3-D planning of resection, advanced reconstructive surgery, and rehabilitation after cancer. His notable contributions include clinical service development and implementation, with a focus on head and neck cancer surgery, microvascular reconstructive surgery, cranio-maxillofacial trauma, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, salivary gland disorders, and skin cancer of the head and neck. A fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.) and the Royal College of Surgeons (F.D.S.R.C.S.) for dental surgery in the UK, Dr. Devine has been a driving force in enhancing patient outcomes. Previously, he held the position of Clinical Lead for Head and Neck Surgery in Scotland, UK, where he played a pivotal role in developing the busiest unit in the UK. Dr. Devine has been instrumental in establishing SSMC as a premier referral center for head and neck surgical oncology and advanced reconstructive surgery in the UAE. As a passionate educator, he lectures nationally and internationally, contributing to the Strasbourg Osteosynthesis Research Group and advocating for multidisciplinary clinical team building and holistic patient care.
